  • Workshop 1 - Macquarie University City Campus 123 Pitt Street, level 24, Sydney, NSW 2000 Workshop 2 - Sydney Institute of Marine Science Chowder Bay, Mosman
  • 28/08/2018 to 30/09/2018
    9:30 - 8:30

Researchers at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science are investigating methods to increase the ecological value of seawalls in Sydney Harbour. The research involves trialing various “greening seawalls” techniques such as attaching 3D printed concreted tiles to existing structures to increase their habitat complexity for marine life.

As part of this process, the researchers would like to year stakeholder ideas and/or concerns regarding greening seawalls interventions. This will help the researchers determine which ecological values to optimise as well as gauge general opinions on the concept of green engineering and the proposed intervention designs.

Join the Living Seawalls team for an interactive workshop which will provide more information on the project and highlight areas where you can get involved. Your opinion is important to us and we’d like to hear from you. To accommodate schedules, we have two workshops planned at the end of August. Workshop 1 – 28 August 9:30am-12:30 or Workshop 2 – 30 August 5:30-8:30pm

When registering, please include the stakeholder group with which you identify in brackets next to your first name.
